Temperature fluctuations in conditioned rooms can create condensation. When this occurs uncontrolled and the moisture is not properly disposed of, it can cause a lot of damage to the equipment and the surroundings. Especially in data centres and computer rooms, the resulting damage can be huge.
To avoid such damages SenseTek offers the Aqualarm liquid detection system. The system consists of water sensing cable and a controller which, if desired, can display the location of a leak at a 1 meter accuracy. Because the system is self-healing, drying of the detection cable after a leak is sufficient to deploy the system again. For small plants, the detection cable can be also used in combination with a detector module that allows a low-cost and yet reliable detection solution.
Besides the liquid detection system with detection cable SenseTek also provides various point detection and liquid level detectors. Some types are able to detect not only water, but other liquid detection as well. These detectors are also able to detect fuel leakages at an early stage.
i-Zone Touch control panel
The i-Zone Touch control panel is the heart of larger water detection systems. The unit incorporates an lcd touch screen that shows the status of the equipment attached. The unit can connect a maximum of 25 water detection zones, that can be both point detection zones and detection cable zones. When using the panel in ombination with the ZLM-50 controller, the i-Zone Touch panel will show the location of any alarm with an accuracy of +/- 1 metre.
ZLM-50 Zoned Locating Module
Converts a zoned control panel into a locating system. This module pinpoints the location of water leaks, or cable damage, anywhere along our detecting cable, with an accuracy of +/- 1 metre. It can also monitor up to 50 metres of combined Leader, Jumper, and Detecting cable. Made of powder coated mild steel. LED & internal alarm sounder within module, for local alarm indication. Connection to i-Zone Touch control panels is an option.
STDi-24 Point of use Water Detector
For use within Plant rooms and other solid floor areas. Also for liquid detection of conductive water. The system is manufactured from rust proof and hard wearing ABS plastic with gold plated detecting pins. The two component design will keep the head and electronic module separate for each other. The LED & internal alarm sounder in module give the local alarm indication. Multiple types of protection covers are available to prevent mechanical damage. Connection to i-Zone or i-Zone Touch control panels is an option.
CDBi-24 Zone Detector Module
Zone detector module for connection to detecting cable and manufactured from rust proof and hard wearing ABS plastic. The LED & internal alarm sounder in module are able to give the local alarm indication. For connection to i-Zone or i-Zone Touch control panels.
